A truely poor performance in Rome saw United lose out on their bid for back to back European Cups. Barcelona won the game 2-0 thanks to goals from Eto'o and Messi. United didn't turn up. A bad day for the lads. Just like a boxer who took a right hook on the chin - they never recovered after the early goal. I can live with it - World Club Champions, Carling Cup Winners and the most important for me, Barclays Premier League Champions - yes, the trophy cabinet is well worth looking at once again for United fans.
